Buckets generally utilize a 3-piece construction; the end caps fit on the outside of the body and are continuously welded to the body. There generally is no taper on the sides of the bucket. The reinforced wear lip is attached to the front of the bucket.

	Resistance to distortion from scooping heavy or packed materials
	Typical in sand, glass or gravel
